On the basis of 3D drawings of the product, Easy Form’s milling machines are programmed to mill plugs/ master geometry with a high degree of precision.

A plug, also known as a master geometry/mould, is the first physical model of a finished product. A plug that has been milled must be sanded and polished before it can be used to mould a production mould.

Easy Form’s plugs are tailored to the customers’ needs.

All plugs are manufactured on a foundation of wood or steel. The surfaces of the ready-milled plugs consist of a polyester, polyurethane or epoxy-based modelling paste.

We always focus on creating strong and stable plugs. The materials and composition are chosen with a view to ensuring a homogenous and stable plug surface. The high-quality surface finish on our plugs does not involve a great number of time-consuming operations. Easy Form can offer either a milled plug or a plug with a complete surface finish.
